Summary: This position is responsible managing and providing leadership to the Mortgage Warehouse Lending Division, overseeing the operations and business development function for Mortgage Warehouse Lending in order to meet or exceed their goals of generating new business through lending Bank funds. The Director will also be responsible for developing new warehouse lending relationships and monitoring existing relationships while insuring that current and new relationships are an acceptable risk for the Bank. This individual should possess strong leadership, credit, and problem solving skills. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Involved in setting and monitoring annual budget, goals, and business plan for the Mortgage Warehouse Lending Department.
- Involved in developing and reviewing Loan Policy & Guidelines and recommending changes as needed.
- Approve loans and overdrafts within his/her authority.
- Developing new, profitable warehouse lending relationships. This entails prospecting for new customers through leads developed personally or that come from referral sources.
- Assist Mortgage Warehouse Lenders client calling, loan structuring, and pricing as necessary.
- Monitor covenants and needs of customers after they are brought to the bank.
- Process annual reviews and line increase requests for current customers.
- Gather and analyze pertinent information to insure there are no major issues with keeping a current customer's line amount where it is at, or to determine if a customer qualifies for a requested increase.
- Gathering and analyzing the information needed to get new applicants approved.
- Prepare reports for management to keep management apprised of current status of our relationships with current and prospective customers.
- Meet regularly with direct reports to review loan pipelines, loan delinquencies, business development strategies, competition and other issues within their teams. Ensure compliance with applicable federal, state and local laws and regulations. Complete all required compliance training. Maintain knowledge of and adhere to Centier's internal compliance policies and procedures. Take responsibility to keep up to date with changing regulations and policies.
Other Duties and Responsibilities:
- Be an ambassador for Centier representing the Bank in community activities including business, charitable, civic and social. Serve as a role model for other associates.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Demonstrated leadership qualities and ability to function independently in the development and management of sophisticated customer accounts that meet the bank's lending requirements and maximize profitability while minimizing risk.

- Previous knowledge of the mortgage business and products.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Demonstrated ability to review, analyze, and comment on financial statements.
- Knowledge of Mortgage companies and their operations.
- Proficient use of Microsoft office products, including Word and Excel.
- Position will work out of their home. Travel to customers, home office, etc. 20% of the time.
Minimum Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent is required; Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance or related field is preferred.
- A minimum of 10-15 years previous mortgage warehouse lending experience with at least 5 years in supervision.
- Experience in reading financial statements is required.
