M9 Solutions is seeking aSecurity Specialist to work hybrid remote/on-site on a government contract for a client located in Washington, DC. An active Secret clearance is required. Responsibilities Assist in defining requirements, designing and building security components, and testing efforts. Capture technical implementations from technical subject matter experts; translate and document them in a system security plan. Facilitate the 6 step RMF process using industry standard governance, risk, and compliance tools. Generate mitigation statements for findings and POA&M items and draft appropriate risk acceptance memos. Socialize documents for signatures to stakeholders, work with external data exchange partners, and communicate interconnection details. Lead internal security assessments for assigned systems and document status of security control implementation. Coordinate external/independent audits including ATO, financial, Zero Trust, and other client initiatives. Required Skills and Qualifications Active Secret security clearance. Cloud Infrastructure. Microsoft Power Business Intelligence (BI). ServiceNow Platform.
