Responsibilities

We're looking for a hands-on, people-focused HR Business Partner to support our Columbus site. This role is all about being present, approachable, and fair-someone who can build trust on the floor, guide managers, and help keep things running smoothly. You'll be the go-to for day-to-day HR support, helping with everything from performance conversations to onboarding and employee questions.

- Be a steady presence on the floor. You'll be visible and available to employees and managers, helping with questions, coaching, and keeping communication clear and consistent.
- Support employees and managers. You'll be the first stop when someone has a concern-but you won't be doing formal investigations. Instead, you'll listen, support, document, and escalate when needed.
- Coach leaders. Help frontline supervisors handle attendance, performance, and team dynamics in a way that's respectful, consistent, and aligned with our policies.
- Keep things fair and steady. This role requires strong judgment. You'll often be the person in the middle-balancing employee needs with production goals. We need someone who can stay grounded and not get easily pulled to one side or the other.
- Support onboarding and hiring. Work with our Talent Acquisition team to support new hires and make sure they feel welcomed and set up for success. Provide local recruiting support and fresh ideas to strengthen our talent pool.
- Help with attendance, timekeeping, and policies. You'll guide leaders in applying policies fairly, managing attendance issues, and keeping things running smoothly.
- Drive positive culture. Support efforts that boost morale, recognition, and overall team engagement. Be a part of making this a great place to work.
- Support communication and change. Whether it's a shift in schedule or a new policy, help leaders communicate clearly and support their teams through change.

Minimum Requirements

-Minimum 3 years of HR experience, with a background in supporting hourly or manufacturing teams
-A track record of growing your scope and taking on more responsibility over time
-Solid communication skills-you're someone people trust and feel comfortable talking to

-Comfortable on the production floor-you're not afraid to throw on a vest and safety shoes and spend time with the team
-Experience using HR systems like Workday, SAP, ADP, or similar
-Must be US Person
