Position Summary:
The Hourly
Research Analyst is an integral part of the Engineering Education team. With
strong qualitative and quantitative research knowledge and excellent writing
skills, this position will participate in data collection and analysis and
preparing manuscripts.

Essential Functions:
-Conducts education research in different aspects of engineering education by performing interview protocol development, qualitative data collection and analysis.
-Analyzes data, builds models, attends and presents results in meetings.
-Assists in writing research papers.
-Consolidates and assures integrity of data extraction in online data platforms.
-Carries out data extraction, data cleaning, and other tasks assigned.
-Any additional
responsibilities as required by management.

Prerequisite Qualifications:
-Master of Science (M.S) in engineering science, engineering education, higher education, STEM education or other related fields.
-Strong quantitative and qualitative research knowledge and excellent writing skills required.
-Experience working with diverse data sources and applying advanced methodologies such as Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML) will be highly valued.
-At the university's discretion, the education and experience prerequisites may be exempted where the candidate can demonstrate to the satisfaction of the university, an equivalent combination of education and experience specifically preparing the candidate for success in the position.

Preferred Qualifications:
-0 - 2 years of experience
-Strong presentations skills.
-Excellent research skills and ability to interpret findings and trends.
