The Supply and Trading Internship is a great opportunity to gain hands-on operations experience while working side by side with professionals from all levels in the office. In this role you will be responsible for supporting the Supply and Operations team with logistical support and tasks. We offer a flexible work environment, with the option to work from home up to two days a week. This means working up to 2 days a week remotely and the rest of the time in the office.

  • Update daily sales
  • Perform daily tasks in system of record
  • Reconcile vendor invoices
  • Track vessel time logs and product gain/loss by movement
  • Provide support for Supply Operations and Supply Trading teams
  • Engage in market related research projects

Qualifications

  • The ability to prioritize tasks and follow up with supervisors on completion of tasks.
  • The ability to work independently, efficiently, and accurately in time sensitive environment.
  • Working knowledge of MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Must have a high school diploma and be enrolled in a degree program leading to a Bachelor's degree.
  • Must be able to commit to 40 hours per week.

The internship program is designed to give students not only corporate experience but also the opportunity to learn more about the industry and Global itself. This summer program consists of formal info sessions with the executive team and others from around the business and developing a group project that is presented at the end of the 10 weeks.
