No Beginning Review Date: 04/30/2025 About JMU: Mission General Information: We seek a vibrant theatre artist as a one-year Visiting Assistant Professor to teach acting, starting August 2025. Areas of expertise should include at least one of the following: scene study (such as Meisner, Hagen, Adler, Chekhov, Stanislavski), directing, voice, or movement and physical theatre (including, but not necessarily limited to, devising and/or non-Eurocentric performance.) Coursework might include acting, directing, voice, movement, and/or devising. Duties and Responsibilities: * Teach a variety of classes, including scene study and acting in multiple genres.
