Responsibilities:
The right candidate for this job willsupport the content planning and distribution process by conducting content research, contributing strategic content ideas for consumer- and professional-facing projects, performing content tagging, inventory audits, content governance, and otherwise ensuring that content supports the needs of our readership and business.
The ideal candidate is a sharp, focused, detail-oriented and curious individual with strong communication and collaborationskills.This person will:
  • Lead project- or topic-based content research and strategy
  • Tag content to improve findability and user experience
  • Support content planning process through ideation, brainstorming, and pitching
  • Provide research and data-backed content and audience insights that support business strategies and readership needs
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with SEO, newsletters, social, content marketing, and others on content that support audience growth and engagement
  • Work closely with our content inventory, including conducting audits, gap analysis, and surfacing and addressing content maintenance needs
Required Skills:
  • Bachelor's degree in journalism, marketing, or related field
  • 3+years experiencein ideating and creating online content, including strong pitching skills
  • 2+years experiencein analyzing data to understand and better engage online visitors
  • 2+ years experience with SEO
  • Experience with content tagging or taxonomy
  • Ability to organize and manage multiple projects with conflicting priorities
  • Understanding of style guidelines and other governance rules
  • Microsoft Office Suite, Google Office, specifically Excel and PowerPoint
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaborate as a cross-functional team member
  • Experience identifying relevant content gaps and justifying content ideas that both improve user experience and meet business needs
  • Excellent problem-solving skills
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience planning and executing content strategy
  • Experience shaping content governance
  • Experience in content template design
  • Experience working with taxonomies and controlled vocabularies
  • Comfortable leading strategy and brainstorming meetings
  • Possess a positive attitude under pressure and excellent interpersonal team skills
  • Project/task management system experience (e.g.WorkFront, Jira)
  • Comfort taking ownership of projects
  • Knowledge of and passion for health and wellness topics
  • Experience implementing and managing processes involving multiple dependencies

This is a hybrid role # days week in our Atlanta, GA office and 2 day WFH.

Salary is $65,000 annually.
