Multicraft Maintenance Technician 1st & 2nd Shift Company: Norris Cylinder Company Primary Location: 4818 W. Loop 281, Longview, TX 75603 USA Workplace Type: On-site Employment Type: Hourly | Full-Time Function: Manufacturing Production / Distribution Equal Opportunity Employer Minorities/Women/Veterans/Disabled Main Duties & Responsibilities JOB DUTIES: The Maintenance Technician will be responsible for performing a variety of repairs and routine maintenance on industrial equipment ranging from PLC controlled hydraulic presses, CNC lathes and mills to all supporting equipment including robots and conveyors that is used in the production and certification of high-pressure seamless gas and low-pressure acetylene cylinders. This is a 2nd/3rd shift position. SPECIFIC DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Qualifications 1. Minimum 2 years of experience working with PLC/Electrical Controls, Robotics, and Electrical. 2. Technical Certification in PLC/Electrical Controls, Robotics, and Electrical -preferred. 3. Ability to read electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic schematics 4. SMAW, GMAW and GTAW abilities a plus 5. Experience working in a manufacturing environment a plus. 6. Must have own tools 7. High School Diploma Language Skills Ability to read and understand technical manuals and documents related to the machine and/or work instructions. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
