Compliance and Technical Training Specialist Job ID JR101793 Date posted 04/10/2025 The Human Resources (HR) Directorate, led by the Associate Lab Director for Human Resources (ALD HR)/ Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO), manages all Human Capital Management functions initiatives including, but not limited to, scientific and non-scientific employment, compensation, benefits, employee and labor relations, training and development, inclusion and diversity, occupational medicine, and guest/user/visitor center. The HR Directorate supports a highly diverse, multicultural, and international population of employees, guests, and users. The Training and Qualifications (TQ) group at Brookhaven National Laboratory (BNL) creates a strong operational culture by utilizing compliance training as a strategic tool that empowers individuals to understand, embrace, and uphold requirements. TQ is responsible for ensuring that all BNL staff (i.e., employees, guests, users, visitors, and contractors) are trained and qualified to perform their assigned tasks and job functions. In this role, you will support the analysis, design, development and implementation of safety and compliance training courses and programs. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: POSITION DESCRIPTION: The Technical Training Specialist is responsible for developing and delivering hands-on instruction in industrial hygiene and mechanical safety topics to our diverse Lab population. The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying and translating OSHA, NFPA and other regulatory requirements into meaningful and engaging training for Brookhaven employees. This role will include creating web-based training courses utilizing course development software such as Articulate Storyline/Rise. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

This is a multi-level role and the full salary range for this position is $80000 - $128000 / year. You will be placed at the level and salary commensurate with your experience. Salary offers will be commensurate with the final candidate's qualification, education and experience and considered with the internal peer group.
