Staffmark is hiring a Custodian for a top-tier fruit packing facility in Murrieta, CA-a company rooted in growing goodness, freshness, and success. This temp-to-hire opportunity is perfect for dependable individuals with experience in deep cleaning machinery in a food production environment.

Pay Rate: $20.00 - $21.00/hour

Shift: Sunday - Friday | 4:30 PM - 1:30 AM

Key Responsibilities:



  • Perform detailed cleaning and sanitation of facility equipment and surfaces
  • Assemble and disassemble machinery for cleaning and sanitizing
  • Follow and maintain the master sanitation schedule
  • Safely handle and stage cleaning tools and chemicals
  • Mop, sweep, dust, and remove debris throughout the facility
  • Report equipment malfunctions and necessary repairs
  • Sanitation recordkeeping
  • Follow all food safety, quality control, and safety protocols


This position involves standing for extended periods and lifting up to 50 lbs, often working in environments with temperatures ranging from 38F to 60F and exposure to hot, wet, or humid conditions.

Qualifications:



  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Minimum 1 year of experience cleaning machinery in a produce or food manufacturing environment
  • Knowledge of sanitation protocols and food safety standards
  • Ability to work independently and follow detailed instructions
  • Physically capable of frequent bending, lifting, and working on/around machinery
  • On-call availability for emergency sanitation needs may be required
