FOX Corporation has a great opportunity for a Government Relations Coordinator to support the Washington, D.C.-based Government Relations office. In this exciting role, the Government Relations Coordinator will be highly proficient and have proactive organizational and problem-solving skills. In addition, the Government Relations Coordinator will have the ability to simultaneously work across multiple organizational platforms.

A SNAPSHOT OF YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Support local television station groups with regulatory filings before the Federal Communications Commission
  • Prepare and distribute communications including advocacy-related and PAC material
  • Develop, process, and track annual budgets, monthly financial reports, department invoices/expenses, etc.
  • Onboard vendors and suppliers in the accounts payable system, maintain invoice tracker and address internal/external inquiries regarding outstanding invoices
  • Prepare and process expense reports for multiple team members
  • Coordinate travel arrangements through the company's travel department for multiple team members' effective relationships with vendors
  • Perform basic administrative tasks, including photocopying, file maintenance, and office supply management
  • Ad hoc duties as needed

WHAT YOU WILL NEED

  • 1-3 years of work experience in a high-speed corporate or government office
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Strong database management skills
  • Strong multi-tasking skills
  • Exceptional organizational skills
  • Excellent communication skills, oral and written
  • Able to handle assignments involving high level of organization and confidentiality, while keeping strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Thrives in a fast-paced environment, energetic and proactive team player

NICE TO HAVE BUT NOT A DEALBREAKER

  • Experience with or comparable work in collaborating with legal teams in executing regulatory compliance processes
  • Bachelor's degree

Pursuant to state and local pay disclosure requirements, the pay rate/range for this role, with final offer amount dependent on education, skills, experience, and location is $25.75-33.18 per hour. This role is also eligible for various benefits, including medical/dental/vision, insurance, a 401(k) plan, paid time off, and other benefits in accordance with applicable plan documents. Benefits for Union represented employees will be in accordance with the applicable collective bargaining agreement.
