Summary
Responsible for managing a team of social workers, ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care, and collaborating with other healthcare professionals to address the psychosocial needs of individuals and families. The Social Work Manager also plays a key role in program development, quality improvement initiatives, and strategic planning to enhance the impact of social work services. Does this position require Patient Care? Yes Essential Functions -Manage and lead a team of social workers, providing supervision, guidance, and support. -Conduct regular team meetings, case conferences, and performance evaluations. -Provide clinical supervision to social workers, offering expertise on complex cases and ethical considerations. -Collaborate with team members to develop and implement effective care plans. -Oversee the coordination of social work services, ensuring timely and appropriate interventions. -Contribute to the development and enhancement of social work programs and services. -Identify opportunities for program expansion, improvement, and integration with other hospital initiatives. -Contribute to strategic planning efforts for the Social Work department.
