Welding Supervisor act Key Responsibilities * Supervision and Leadership: Lead and manage a team of welders, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure high-quality workmanship and productivity. * Project Management: Plan, organize, and oversee welding projects from start to finish, ensuring that timelines and budgets are adhered to. * Quality Control: Inspect welding work to ensure it meets industry standards and specifications. Implement quality control measures and address any issues that arise. * Safety Compliance: Enforce safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment. Conduct regular safety meetings and training sessions. * Equipment Maintenance: Oversee the maintenance and repair of welding equipment, ensuring that it is in good working order and safe to use. * Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate records of welding projects, including work completed, materials used, and any issues encountered. Provide regular reports to management. * Coordination: Work closely with other departments, such as engineering and quality assurance, to ensure that welding projects align with overall company goals and objectives. Qualifications and Skills * Experience: A minimum of 5 years of experience in welding, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role. Experience in a variety of welding techniques and materials is preferred. Good MS Office skills. * Education: A high school diploma or equivalent is required. Additional technical training or certification in welding is highly desirable. * Leadership Skills: Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team. * Technical Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of welding techniques, materials, and equipment.
