Supervisor IT Cloud Engineering Are you passionate about building and leading modern, secure, and scalable cloud platforms? APS is looking for an experienced and strategic Supervisor, IT Cloud Engineering to launch and lead a new team that will drive the future of our hybrid-cloud infrastructure. In this influential leadership role, you'll help shape our cloud strategy across Azure and Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI), while fostering a high-performing team culture rooted in automation, DevOps, and infrastructure-as-code excellence.
You are responsible for:
- Leading the design, deployment, and support of Azure and OCI cloud platforms to support enterprise-wide initiatives.
- Building and managing hybrid-cloud environments that balance performance, security, and cost.
- Guiding a team of engineers in DevOps best practices, including CI/CD pipelines, observability, scripting, and infrastructure-as-code using tools like Terraform, PowerShell, Azure DevOps, and Jenkins.
- Driving strategic incident response and root-cause analysis to ensure platform resilience and availability.
- Translating complex architecture and infrastructure needs into actionable, business-aligned solutions.
- Partnering across IT and business teams to advance automation, agility, and innovation at scale.
- Supporting cloud governance, cost optimization, and compliance in collaboration with security, architecture, and finance stakeholders.

Minimum Requirements
Supervisor IT Cloud Engineering
- Bachelors' degree in Information Technology or related field
- PLUS five (5) years' prior relevant experience or equivalent combination of education and directly related experience plus 1 year prior leadership experience.
- Advanced knowledge of job area typically obtained through advanced education combined with experience.
- Knowledge of all infrastructure technologies (compute, storage, networking, physical infrastructure, software, commercial off the shelf (COTS) and open source packages and solutions, virtual and cloud including IaaS, PaaS and SaaS);
- Knowledge of infrastructure management tools and monitoring tools, solution sizing for hardware/software platforms, industry standard security requirements and designs.
Multi-Cloud Expertise
- Azure:Deep understanding of core services (VMs, networking, Azure AD, AKS, etc.).
- OCI:Knowledge of OCI compute, networking, storage, IAM, and database services (especially Exadata).
- Hybrid cloud architecturesand cloud interoperability.
- Security tools and best practices in both Azure and OCI.
Infrastructure & DevOps Knowledge
- Familiarity with IaC tools(Terraform, ARM, OCI Resource Manager).
- CI/CD tools (Azure DevOps, Jenkins, GitHub Actions).
- Scripting (PowerShell, Bash, Python).
- Monitoring and observability (Azure Monitor, OCI Monitoring, Prometheus, etc.).
- Identity and access management across clouds.
Major Accountabilities
1. Lead a team in the architect and build of automated cloud solutions; including cloud adoption plans, cloud management and monitoring, new cloud technologies integration, and data center migrations.
2. In conjunction with other function groups and other business units, determine cloud infrastructure requirements and specifications
3. Work with senior leaders to shape the go-forward vision for the organization from a specific domain perspective
4. Works with vendors and partners to manage the successful planning, and implementation of critical tooling and platforms
5. Recommend, coordinate and perform the implementation of cloud solutions.
6. Oversee the Installation, troubleshooting and maintenance of all supported cloud infrastructure and services.
7. Participates in and influence development of technology roadmaps across the enterprise
8. Perform or provide oversite regarding installation and upgrade activities with minimal disruption to the business while following standard change management policies.
9. Evaluates new technologies for adoption across the enterprise
10. Drives thought leadership and innovation among team members
