DESCRIPTION OF WORK

As a Clerical Assistant 3, your work will focus on processing time-sensitive billing. This includes reviewing and comparing data to ensure the correct costs are charged for the work completed, invoicing work orders, working with the Customer Account Managers to verify pricing and coding, and working with the Comptroller's office to ensure bills are paid in a timely manner. Your attention to detail skills will be key as you verify monthly invoice audits, research any discrepancies, and follow up with corrective action when necessary. In this important role, you will manage all timekeeping responsibilities by following and adhering to the rules set forth in the union contract. This involves working closely with HR's time advisor to ensure compliance for all three shifts, keeping current knowledge of timekeeping rules, and preparing timekeeping and payroll reports. Additional duties to include but not limited to:
- Monitoring non-inventoried office supplies and replenishing stock as needed
- Handling various employee documents, answering and forwarding telephone calls
- Utilizing working knowledge of the bureau's print/mail management system (PACE)

- Full-time employment
- Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with 30-minute lunch.
- Telework: You will not have the option to telework in this position.
- Essential Employee - Required to report to work during emergencies and office closings.
- Salary: In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY

QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:
- One year as a Clerical Assistant 2 (Commonwealth job title or equivalent Federal Government job title, as determined by the Office of Administration); or
- One year of moderately complex clerical experience; or
- An equivalent combination of experience and training.
Additional Requirement:
- You must be able to perform essential job functions.
