Evoke is seeking a Portfolio Specialist to join our team!

Responsibilities:

  • Provides IT Planning, Budget, Reporting, and Audit support
  • Supports the management of the Agency's IT portfolio, ensuring business processes align with IT support mission requirements.
  • Ensures compliance with applicable statutes, regulations, policy, and IT portfolio management and capital planning guidance.
  • Supports Enterprise Portfolio Management business processes
  • Supports the evolution of portfolio management processes and associated objectives and outcomes.
  • Supports data collection strategies that minimize administrative burden and enable leadership to make data-driven decisions.
  • Supports the organization in accomplishing the development, preparation, submission, and justification of its IT budget
  • Interfaces directly with federal clients and project and program managers across the agency to comprehend the current portfolio of projects and make recommendations for improvement.
  • Designs and implements predictive analytics to inform portfolio management and investment decision processes.
  • Develops portfolio management artifacts, templates and analytic tools to assist in reporting the condition of project portfolios and maturing portfolio management processes.

Education and Years of Experience:

  • Requires BA/BS in related field (minimum)
  • Minimum five (5) years' relevant work experience

Professional Experience and Skills:

  • Experience across all phases of IT Portfolio Management
  • Demonstrated expertise in Microsoft Excel to collect, compile, and analyze data
  • Experience with financial data including statistical analysis and other analytic methods
  • Strong analytical skills, superior problem-solving skills, and demonstrated critical thinking
  • Ability to develop briefings using Microsoft PowerPoint
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to effectively communicate complex statistical data to executive leadership
  • Ability to work independently amongst a geographically dispersed team
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Working knowledge of the government IT budgeting and financial reporting process
  • Experience with Microsoft Power BI is a MAJOR plus

Security Clearance

  • Applicants selected must be eligible to work in the United States, be subject to a government security investigation, and meet eligibility requirements for access to protected information.
