The Graphic Designer II will work alongside Hanger marketing team members and key stakeholders to design compelling print and digital marketing content for Hanger Inc and its various business units. The Graphic Designer II will exercise their previous experience and expertise in graphic design, marketing, and content creation to elevate and add value to each of the brands they serve. This is an in-office position at Hanger's Corporate Office in Austin, TX.



Your Impact

The Graphic Designer II will report to the Manager, Graphic Design and fulfill responsibilities that include (but are not limited to):

    Follow, guide, and expand upon the look and feel of the Hanger brand and its various business units to ensure quality and consistency.
  • Develop and design print & digital products, including but not limited to flyers, posters, signage, brochures, catalogs, manuals, booklets, labels/stickers, social media posts, promotional items, wearables, web graphics, and other collateral as needed.
  • Support ongoing design production to facilitate company-wide initiatives & meet business goals.
  • Maintain creative files, assets, and deliverables in an organized fashion.
  • Administer, organize, and execute monthly deliverables for the supplier partner marketing program.
  • Complete miscellaneous tasks and projects as needed by the marketing team.
  • Participate in daily, weekly, or monthly team and departmental meetings, plannings, and trainings.
  • Occasionally attend in-person events as needed to discover why our patients are at the center of everything we do.


Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree with a focus in Graphic Design
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience working on real-world marketing and design projects, preferably in the health care industry
  • Experience with organization and project management.
  • Working knowledge of the Adobe Creative Suite. Strong InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, and Acrobat skills are required.
  • Working knowledge of Monday, Smartsheet, and/or other collaborative project management tools
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook, with strong PowerPoint and presentation skills.
  • A portfolio featuring samples of previous real-world design work that demonstrates experience, style, and technique.

  • Creative, curious, and solutions-oriented with the ability to formulate design concepts from ideation to execution and delivery.
  • Excellent verbal/written communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to articulate design decisions.
  • Experience with production design, including setup for various types of print projects, photo editing, and exporting web-friendly graphics.
  • Thorough knowledge of design principals including layout, typography, color theory, brand identity.
  • Specific experience with long-form documents including catalogs, manuals, and multi-page brochures.
  • Exceptional organizational and communications skills with the ability to work with many internal and external partners on ad implementation.
  • Works well on a team, contributes constructively to meetings and asks thoughtful questions.
  • Detail-oriented with proven organizational and project management skills.
  • Takes initiative, can work independently with minimal direction, and has a strong sense of personal accountability to meet deadlines.
