Job Summary:

The Sr. HR Business Partner (HRBP) acts as a partner to business leaders, aligning HR strategies with organizational goals to drive business success. This role involves providing HR guidance, fostering employee engagement, and ensuring compliance with company policies and labor laws. The Sr. HRBP will collaborate with leadership teams to implement HR initiatives that enhance workforce performance, talent management, and organizational culture.

Responsibilities:

  • Serve as an HR advisor to business leaders, understanding their objectives and aligning HR initiatives accordingly.
  • Work with senior leaders to proactively address performance and employee concerns.
  • Advise senior leaders on HR impacts to actions.
  • Facilitate the human and business sides of change management for employees
  • Proactively identify significant change and work with senior leaders to develop and implement action plans for smooth transitions
  • Serve as primary carrier of information to and from business unit
  • Partner with management to support talent management strategies, including workforce planning, succession planning, and performance management.
  • Support employee relations by providing guidance on conflict resolution, disciplinary actions, and HR policies.
  • Analyze HR metrics and provide insights to improve employee engagement, retention, and overall performance.
  • Assist Culture, Belonging and Inclusion initiatives to foster an inclusive workplace culture.
  • Partner with talent acquisition team to identify internal talent for key roles
  • Ensure compliance with labor laws, company policies, and industry best practices.
  • Collaborate with Learning & Development teams to identify skills gaps and training needs for business units
  • Act as a mediator and consultant on employee grievances and workplace issues.
  • Performs other duties as assigned

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field required; HR certification preferred
  • 7-9 + years of HR experience, with at least three years in an HRBP role
  • Strong understanding of employment law, HR best practices, and industry trends
  • Ability to appropriately prioritize goals and tasks and strong time management skills
  • Strong oral, written, and presentation skills
  • Exceptional interpersonal and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to influence and build strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels
  • Proficiency in HR software
  • Strong computer skills using Microsoft Office suite with proficiency in Excel
  • Ability to travel to various locations as needed. Must be able to operate a motor vehicle and maintain a valid driver's license and auto insurance
