What the day will look like

The Human Capital Solutions GLP1 Initiative Director will play a dynamic role in a new initiative focused on developing solutions to address the employer GLP1 challenge. This role will involve significant complexity and a number of stakeholders in an emerging area. The individual will support the initiative leader and will be required to provide project management, workstream coordination and advancement, meeting and stakeholder management, client engagement support, and management of a key third party partner relationship. This role offers outsized exposure to senior leadership and the opportunity to be at the forefront of innovation within Aon.

Key Responsibilites

  1. Project Management and Workstream Advancement:
  • Help manage and drive advancement across interdependent workstreams, including reporting of progress and flagging risks and opportunities.
  • Coordinate with enterprise client leaders, consultants, and initiative leadership to project manage a go-to-market approach.
  • Own the investment budget and liaise with Finance, initiative leader and senior leadership to ensure prioritization of resources and trade-off decisions needed.
  • Work with various stakeholders to ensure seamless integration of all components of the initiative.
  • Adapt to varying day-to-day demands, maintain organization, and keep workstream owners moving ahead at pace.
  1. Meeting and Stakeholder Management:
  • Manage meeting cadence and agendas for the initiative's steering committees composed of senior leaders across the business.
  • Ensure that attendees are prepared to report on progress in their respective workstreams and provide assistance if needed.
  • Create materials that pull together the progress of various workstreams to tell the story and provide impactful collateral to share with internal and external stakeholders, in collaboration with MarComms as needed.
  1. Client Engagement:
  • Prepare for, coordinate with other client leaders, and at times lead client meetings.
  • Represent the initiative in support of other client leaders from time to time.
  • Develop and evolve client narratives and presentations to support client interactions.
  1. Third-Party Relationship Management:
  • Interact with and manage the day-to-day relationship with our third-party strategic partner, including overall management of the commercial relationship.

Skills and Experience:

  • Analytical Thinking: Ability to gain an accurate understanding of complex project situations and recognize when additional information is required. Propose alternative solutions to improve effectiveness and efficiency.
  • Strategic and Commercial Acumen: Strong business acumen with the ability to think strategically and challenge conventional wisdom.
  • Communication: Demonstrates a professional approach with strong oral and written communication skills. Ability to pull together various strands into a coherent and compelling narrative.
  • Attention to Detail: Process requests thoroughly and accurately, completing work diligently to avoid re-work.
  • Project Management: Establish priorities for multiple tasks/projects, address work obstacles, and reprioritize projects as required.
  • Client Interaction: Ability to represent the initiative in support of other client leaders from time to time.
  • Subject Matter Proficiency: Base line understanding of healthcare and ability to learn quickly to ensure has sufficient substance on the subject matter of employer healthcare programs/outcomes and GLP-1s.
  • Technical Skills: Strong proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
  • Co-ordination and Flexibility: Resilience to navigate a fast-paced and dynamic environment and project that may require frequent and short-notice adjustments and deliverables.

Pay Transparency Laws:

The salary range for this position (intended for U.S. applicants) is $130,000 to $160,000 annually. The actual salary will vary based on applicant's education, experience, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data. The salary may also be adjusted based on applicant's geographic location.

This position is eligible to participate in one of Aon's annual incentive plans to receive an annual discretionary bonus in addition to base salary. The amount of any [bonus] [production incentives] varies and is subject to the terms and conditions of the applicable incentive plan.
