• Pay Rate: $40-50/hr
  
• HYBRID schedule-onsite 3 days, 2 days remote
  

What You'll Be Doing:


* Negotiates favorable terms, volume discounts and long-term contracts with IT suppliers.
* Prepares and processes requisitions and purchase orders for the procurement of goods, services and supplies for customer-related business processes.
* Collaborates and supports IT stakeholders.
* Executes category sourcing strategies including development and execution of RFI's and RFP's, documents bid events through correspondence to suppliers
* Develops selection criteria and drives the selection of suppliers in collaboration with a cross-functional teams; conducts supplier negotiations and ongoing supplier management.
* Gains alignment from stakeholders, leads cross-functional, category-based negotiation teams, and implements appropriate supplier risk analysis
* Executes and sustains effective Global Procurement strategies, systems, processes, and tools to enable simplification, standardization, leverage, and compliance across the Company.
* Collects, analyzes, and audits data in support of managing spend, ensuring sourcing process compliance, developing plans for procurement, managing transportation and expediting or troubleshooting delivery of quality materials and services. Provides a comprehensive, sustainable, and cost-effective supplier base for the company, while minimizing supply risk.
* Monitors supplier performance to ensure that delivery dates and technical and contractual requirements are met.
* Participates in strategic meetings with suppliers and business leaders to ensure execution of defined strategies.
* Manages day-to-day on-going category supplier relations and seeks outgrowth or revision opportunities within supply base.
* Acts as the internal point of contact for supplier management and complaint resolution; conducts regular supplier meetings and implements improvement strategies with suppliers.

Required:


* 7+ years of Purchasing and Sourcing experience.
* 5+ years IT product and service purchasing and management experience.
* Professional with significant knowledge within own discipline and knowledge of related disciplines, completing specialized and/or moderately complex tasks under moderate supervision.
* May supervise employees, focused on task performance and delivery of specialized processes.
