Position Summary:
We have an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Telephone Operator - Brooklyn.
In this role, the successful candidate Provide service for telephone communications, and code/trauma conditions.
Job Responsibilities:
- Operates communications system Telephone Switchboard
- Contacts all hospital personnel in emergency situations
- Maintains code book
- Maintains telephone database
- Interacts appropriately with different levels of management
- Pages trauma groups
- Announces over head emergency calls
- Follows fire alarm emergency procedures
- Answers emergency elevator calls
- Follows specific procedures for Code Trauma Condition
Minimum Qualifications:
To qualify you must have a To qualify you must have a High School Diploma required.
Two years of Telephone experience in Healthcare, a Hotel or a large institutional environment
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills required
Qualified candidates must be able to effectively communicate with all levels of the organization.

NYU Langone Health provides a salary range to comply with the New York state Law on Salary Transparency in Job Advertisements. The salary range for the role is $47,106.25 - $52,075.03 Annually. Actual salaries depend on a variety of factors, including experience, specialty, education, and hospital need. The salary range or contractual rate listed does not include bonuses/incentive, differential pay or other forms of compensation or benefits.
