Job Summary

We are seeking a Sr. Architect with 18 to 22 years of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in Power BI Service Data Modelling with Power BI Azure Analysis Services MS Power BI MS Excel Database and SQL. Experience in Finance & Accounting is a plus. This is a hybrid role with day shifts and no travel required.

Responsibilities

* Lead the design and implementation of data models using Power BI to ensure efficient data visualization and reporting.

* Oversee the development and maintenance of Power BI Service to support business intelligence needs.

* Provide expertise in Azure Analysis Services to enhance data analysis capabilities.

* Utilize MS Power BI to create interactive and insightful dashboards for stakeholders.

* Implement advanced data modeling techniques to optimize data structures and relationships.

* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze business requirements.

* Ensure data integrity and accuracy by performing regular data validation and quality checks.

* Develop and maintain complex SQL queries to support data extraction and transformation processes.

* Use MS Excel to perform data analysis and create detailed reports.

* Mentor and guide junior team members in best practices for data modeling and business intelligence.

* Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to continuously improve our BI solutions.

* Work closely with the Finance & Accounting team to understand their data needs and provide tailored solutions.

* Contribute to the overall success of the company by delivering high-quality BI solutions that drive informed decision-making.

Qualifications

* Must have extensive experience with Power BI Service and Data Modelling with Power BI.

* Should have strong expertise in Azure Analysis Services and MS Power BI.

* Must be proficient in MS Excel and have a solid understanding of Database and SQL.

* Experience in the Finance & Accounting domain is a plus.

* Should have excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

* Must possess strong communication and collaboration abilities.

* Should be able to work independently and as part of a team.

* Must have a keen eye for detail and a commitment to data accuracy.

* Should be adaptable and open to learning new technologies.

* Must have a proven track record of delivering successful BI projects.

* Should be able to mentor and guide junior team members effectively.

* Must be able to translate business requirements into technical solutions.

* Should have a passion for data and its impact on business outcomes

Salary and Other Compensation:

The hourly salary for this position is between $[101,700-137,500] depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

This position is also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program and stock options, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant's applicable plans.
