How You'll Make an Impact

  • Establish local Frame Agreements with service and parts suppliers.
  • Develop and maintain price lists and standard terms and conditions.
  • Manage supplier relationships, including risk management, development, auditing, and contracting.
  • Monitor and maintain supplier performance.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to meet internal customer service needs.
  • Develop pricing strategies across key MDF categories.
  • Review and approve Purchase Orders.
  • Initiate and support SCM process improvement initiatives.

Your Background

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in strategic sourcing, procurement, or supply chain management, preferably within transformer services or a related industry.
  • Strong negotiation, contract management, and supplier relationship management skills.
  • Excellent analytical abilities, with the capability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.
  • Familiarity with market trends in transformer services and the energy sector.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across teams and manage stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in procurement tools and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) is a plus.
  • Candidate must already have work authorization that would permit them to work for Hitachi Energy in the United States.
