Energy Transfer, a leading U.S. midstream company is looking for a bilingual communications professional with experience in Latin America to lead the Partnership's communications programs and campaigns throughout the region. Candidates must have a minimum of 8 years' experience. Previous agency experience a plus. The position is based in Dallas but will have regular travel to Latin America. The successful candidate will join an in-house Communications Team of nine professionals and will be responsible for establishing the Energy Transfer brand throughout Latin America with an initial focus on Panama, Honduras, Belize and Guatemala. The role will also provide communications and community support for growth projects in Latin America as Energy Transfer seeks to expand its footprint in the region. Candidates must be comfortable in a fast-moving environment. We are looking for experienced experts in key communications disciplines including media relations (traditional and emerging media), content development, strategy development, crisis communications, community relations, and social/digital media. Additional experience in working with C-suite, government representatives, and key opinion and community leaders is also required. The successful candidate will also serve as the company spokesperson in Latin America. Minimal internal communications will be part of this role as well. Requirements: Education and/or Experience, Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements for this position are listed below: * Bachelor's degree in Public Relations, Journalism or Communications required. * 8 plus years of communications experience managing corporate reputation through external media relations, crisis communications and social media. Agency experience a plus. * Excellent writer and communicator - with experience in various communications methodologies. * Must have outstanding communications skills for executive communications and proven experience in executing multifaceted communications campaigns measured against operational goals on time and on budget. * A keen eye for strategy, self-motivated and curious. * A proven record of developing strong collaborative partnerships with senior management and colleagues to drive results. * Excellent project management and organizational skills. * Self-directed with the ability to manage multiple projects at once. * Execution focused and a strong sense of urgency. * Travel required. |
