Omron Management Center of America is hiring for a Foreign Trade Zone (FTZ) Administrator in Dallas, Texas.

The FTZ Administrator is responsible for all compliance activities regarding customs regulations of the Foreign Trade Zone in Dallas TX. The position will work directly with US Customs to co-ordinate all issues relating to the use of FTZ for inbound and outbound foreign goods. This position provides operational supervision, support and analysis regarding FTZ operations. This role will oversee day-to-day FTZ and inventory related activities to support the overall FTZ Operation.

Responsibilities:



  • Ensure that all FTZ operations comply with all CBP regulations and procedures.
  • Maintain accurate records of all FTZ activities, including inventory control and documentation.
  • Verify FTZ-related data, ensuring accuracy and integration.
  • Interacts with CBP, Import/Export Manager, 3PL, Logistics team and CBP to address any issues or questions.
  • Regularly updates and reports to management on FTZ activities.


  • Ensure Inbound Tracking Spreadsheet updated daily.
  • Confirm ISF filings are complete.


  • Review e214 admissions uploaded into One Source by Broker.
  • Research and validate foreign vs domestic receipts into the FTZ.
  • Validate One Source data against actual documentation, as needed, to ensure accuracy of integration and information.
  • Analyze weekly estimated entry (CF3461)
  • Identify, reconcile, and resolve any inventory issues in a prompt and timely manner.
  • Manage export transactions (7512/EEI/ITN)
  • Conduct internal audits of FTZ operations.
  • Notify Logistics team on overdue shipments.
  • Support Import/Export Operations Manager and 3PL with data analysis as needed.
  • Research shortages and files OS&D with carrier.
  • Partner with the Import/Export Operations Manager to ensure FTZ procedures are current and accurately reflect the operations and practices.
  • Review weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual documentation and forms to U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) in a timely manner.



Job Requirements:



  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Logistics, or related field with
    3 years' experience in Customs Brokerage, Imports or FTZ Administration OR 7 years' experience in Customs Brokerage as an Import Specialist or Zone Specialist


  • Working knowledge of the U.S. Foreign Trade Zones program including compliance and best practices
  • Working knowledge of the imports, exports, Customs brokerage, HTS classification, inventory control systems, warehousing, and logistic activities
  • Meticulous with strong organization skills and ability to prioritize, multi-task, and meet deadlines.
  • Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
  • Ability to read and interpret government regulations.
  • Excellent communication and people skills
  • Initiative-taking and capable of working as part of a team or alone with little supervision.
  • Exceptional diligence
  • PC Literate - with strong Excel skills
  • OneSource (Integration Point) experience a plus but not required.
