Materials Support Technician

Staffmark is seeking Materials Support Technicians to join a leading manufacturing team in Alexandria, MN. Pay Range: $18.00 - $19.50/hour

Shifts Available:

• 1st Shift: Monday-Friday, 6:30 AM - 2:30 PM
• 2nd Shift: Monday-Friday, 2:30 PM - 10:30 PM
• 4th Shift: Friday-Sunday, 6:30 AM - 6:30 PM (Work 36 hours, get paid for 40)

Responsibilities:

• Perform packing, trailer loading, material handling, and aging of materials
• Set up and operate equipment safely and efficiently
• Ensure product quality by inspecting and monitoring throughout the process
• Handle billet receiving, scrap bin dumping, and basket distribution to/from press lines
• Load trailers and operate cranes safely
• Support press operations and ensure proper materials and spacers are available
• Perform product inspections before aging and check hardness by alloy and temper
• Maintain cleanliness and organization using the 5S system
• Follow company guidelines and quality standards at all times
• Demonstrate leadership and uphold company values on the production floor

Requirements:

• 1+ years of manufacturing experience preferred
• Forklift and crane experience strongly preferred
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow procedures
