Overview

Abacus Technology is seeking a Computer Systems Analyst to provide IT service support and audio/video (A/V) technical assistance at Fort Bragg. This is a full-time position.



Responsibilities

    Identify, communicate, and manage risks associated with IT and A/V projects.
  • Translate customer requirements into new IT project specifications and system enhancements.
  • Develop IT project plans, detailing tasks, milestones, and resource allocation.
  • Assess business and operational requirements, recommending IT solutions to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Recommend, install, configure, maintain, and upgrade computer hardware, networking components, and software applications.
  • Troubleshoot workstation, server, and network connectivity issues to ensure system availability.
  • Support classified and unclassified IT systems in compliance with Army cybersecurity policies.
  • Coordinate with vendors and IT teams for system upgrades, replacements, and technical troubleshooting.
  • Set up, maintain, and troubleshoot audio/video equipment, VTC systems, and multimedia solutions.
  • Provide technical support for command briefings, presentations, and special events requiring A/V support.
  • Ensure all A/V components integrate seamlessly with the Army's IT infrastructure.
  • Maintain A/V equipment inventory and conduct routine system testing and performance checks.
  • Ensure compliance with DoD and Army IT policies, including RMF, DISA STIGs, and AR 25-2 guidelines.
  • Implement and maintain access control measures, endpoint security, and data protection solutions.
  • Regularly update and patch IT systems in accordance with Army cybersecurity directives.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation for IT and A/V systems, including setup procedures and troubleshooting guides.
  • Provide training to users on IT security best practices, system usage, and troubleshooting methods.
  • Assist in preparing status reports, IT assessments, and risk mitigation strategies.


Qualifications

3+ years experience in IT service support, project management, and A/V system administration. Bachelor's degree in a related field desired. Must be Security+ certified (or hold an equivalent certification in compliance with IAT Level II). Experience identifying, communicating, and mitigating risks associated with IT projects. Proficient in defining customer/business requirements and recommending IT solutions. Knowledge of network configurations, software installation, and IT system upgrades. Able to plan, implement, and maintain computer and A/V systems supporting command and operational functions. Experience developing technical drawings. Knowledge of Dragon Joint Operations Center (DJOC), Ridgeway and Gavin conference rooms audio/visual hardware, software, and network components and able to provide technical recommendations for modifications or enhancements. Experience with DoD IT service management, audio/video technologies, and mission-critical system support. Familiar with Army IT security policies, RMF processes, and VTC/A/V integration solutions. Hands-on experience with IT project planning, system administration, and network infrastructure maintenance. Able to interact professionally with all levels of an organization. Must be a US citizen and hold a current Secret clearance.
