Role Overview

MSHS Pacific Power Group is seeking a high-impact FP&A Manager to support our East Coast operations in a fast-paced, private equity-backed, post-merger environment.

This role is designed for a finance leader who excels at forward-looking financial planning, scenario modeling, and translating complex data into clear, actionable insights for executive leadership.

You will partner closely with the CFO and regional leadership to drive forecasting accuracy, margin improvement, capital planning, and strategic decision-making as we scale toward a $500M+ global industrial services platform.

This is not a back-office reporting role. It is a hands-on, business-facing FP&A position with direct influence on operational and financial outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead financial planning and analysis for East Coast operations, including budgeting, forecasting, long-range planning, and scenario modeling
  • Own variance analysis across revenue, margin, operating expenses, and working capital, providing clear insights into drivers and risks
  • Develop and maintain financial models to support strategic initiatives, post-merger integration, and growth investments
  • Partner with operational and commercial leaders to translate financial data into actionable business decisions
  • Analyze KPIs, performance metrics, and trends to support margin improvement, cost optimization, and capital allocation
  • Support the CFO with executive-level reporting, board materials, and investor-facing analyses
  • Improve FP&A processes, tools, and reporting cadence to enhance visibility, accuracy, and speed in a scaling environment
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Accounting, Operations, Sales, and Corporate Finance to ensure alignment between financial plans and execution
Required Qualifications
  • 10+ years of progressive finance experience with significant FP&A ownership in operating environments
  • Mandatory: Experience in a private equity-backed company or high-growth, entrepreneurial organization
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business required; MBA, CPA, CFA, or CMA strongly preferred
  • Proven ability to build and manage forecasts, financial models, and performance analyses that drive executive decisions
  • Strong business acumen with the ability to connect financial outcomes to operational drivers
  • Comfortable operating in fast-moving, post-merger environments with evolving structure
  • Clear, confident communicator with experience supporting senior leadership and executive stakeholders
Desired Skills & Experience
  • Industry exposure to Marine, Power Generation, Defense, or Industrial / Manufacturing Services
  • Experience supporting multi-entity, multi-location operations
  • Advanced financial modeling and scenario analysis skills
  • Hands-on experience with ERP and BI tools (Dynamics, Infor, Power BI, or similar)
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to build structure without over-engineering
  • Strong cross-functional partnership skills and executive presence
