Essential Job Responsibilities:

• Supervise daily operations of the plant, ensuring all activities are executed in a safe, efficient, and cost-effective manner.
• Oversee the maintenance of plant equipment and infrastructure, scheduling regular inspections and preventive maintenance to minimize downtime and ensure operational efficiency.
• Lead and manage operations and maintenance teams, providing training, guidance, and support to ensure staff competency and performance.
• Implement and enforce strict safety protocols and environmental policies, ensuring compliance with company policies in addition to all local, state, tribal, and federal regulations.
• Coordinate with engineers, technicians, and other professionals to troubleshoot operational issues, plan major maintenance activities, and implement system improvements.
• Monitor plant performance, analyzing data to identify trends, optimize operations, and achieve performance targets.
• Manage inventory of spare parts, tools, and supplies, ensuring availability of critical items for maintenance and repairs.
• Prepare and maintain accurate records and reports on plant operations, maintenance activities, and safety incidents.
• Liaise with regulatory agencies, stakeholders, and external contractors, maintaining effective communication and ensuring compliance with all operational permits and licenses.

• Ability to be available 24 hrs a day (on call for questions, emergencies, etc)

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Foreman or supervisory role in a plant environment or similar industrial setting, with a strong focus on operations and maintenance.
• Comprehensive knowledge of hydrocarbon processing techniques, equipment, and safety standards.
• Excellent leadership, organizational, and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and lead by example.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make decisions quickly in emergency situations.
• Familiarity with regulatory compliance requirements and environmental policies relevant to hydrocarbon processing, including but not limited to OSHA PSM Standards.
• Proficient in using computer software for data analysis, reporting, and operational management.
• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to liaise with various stakeholders.

Education Requirements:

• Graduation from a high school or GED equivalent; or any equivalent combination of education and experience demonstrating sufficient knowledge, ability, and skill to perform the duties and responsibilities of the position.
