Job Responsibilities:
* Shows strong customer focus by supporting Operations, Materials, and Maintenance teams.
* Uses Visual Controls, Standardized Work, Training, and Escalation to identify and resolve line issues and out-of-standard conditions.
* Provides direct support for the roles and responsibilities of Production Team Members.
* Leads the execution of daily production requirements.
* Fosters a sense of ownership and urgency to resolve production line downtime and prevent future occurrences.

Some of the things you will do:

* Lead safety performance within the Maintenance team by modeling safety behaviors, adhering to PPE requirements, ensuring workplace organization, and mentoring team members on safety concepts.
* Develop standardized work procedures for maintenance activities, focusing on job plans for infrequent and at-risk tasks (Safety and Quality).
* Lead start-of-shift team meetings and coordinate shift handoffs (expected 15-minute overlap).
* Manage Maintenance crew activities throughout the shift, including breaks, lunch, standardized work, and staffing. Escalate any staffing gaps to supervision as needed.
* Track and ensure the completion of all maintenance activities and metrics, including MTTR (Mean Time to Repair), MTTF (Mean Time to Failure), and first-time repairs.
* Ensure problem-solving techniques are effectively applied within Maintenance and that Maintenance supports production team problem-solving activities.
* Plan and execute TPM (Total Productive Maintenance) through planned downtime and weekend activities (may require overtime as needed).

Working Conditions/Special Factors:
* Work in a Chemical Plant Environment.
* Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
* High levels of stress and pressure may be encountered.
* Minimum requirement of two Saturday shifts per month and/or a minimum of 50 hours per week.
* Work may extend beyond standard shifts and include weekends.
* Shift handoffs before and after shifts may require overtime on a daily basis.
* May require attendance at training courses, conferences, seminars, or other meetings based on individual training needs or job requirements.
* Potential for travel to other locations as required.
