Position Overview


Essential Job Duties
This position will work Dr. Keung in the Department of Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering. The applicant will perform research related to specific projects, including recombinant protein production, plate reader assays, flow cytometry, next generation sequencing analysis, and molecular biology to engineer systems capable of searching complex molecular databases.

Duties and Responsibilities include:

  • Lead 2-3 research projects conceptually and experimentally.
  • Perform experiments. Analyze data. Prepare manuscripts and figures.
  • Disseminate work through conference talks and peer-reviewed publications.
  • Explore entrepreneurial training.
  • Assist in proposal preparation.

Other Work/Responsibilities

  • Contribute to standard laboratory common duties.
  • Help train other laboratory members in those techniques with expertise.
