Pay Grade/Pay Range: Minimum: $56,600 - Midpoint: $73,600 (Salaried E9)

Normal Work Schedule: Monday - Friday 8:00am to 5:00pm

Job Summary: The Title IX EOP Investigator I performs fact-gathering and investigative functions primarily related to sexual misconduct and harassment, and protected class discrimination and harassment incidents for faculty, staff and students.

Additional Department Summary: Receives, analyzes, and investigates reports of alleged violations of the University's Title IX and Sexual Misconduct Policy, the Harassment Policy, the Equal Opportunity and Non-Discrimination Policy, the Consensual Romantic Relationships Policy and other UA applicable UA policies. Accurately and promptly maintains records. Communicates and collaborates with co-workers, supervision, campus partners, and others. Expected to be educated on training related to applicable Federal and State laws and University policy.

The Office of Equal Opportunity and Title IX Programs is responsible for the University's compliance with Federal and State laws related to sexual misconduct, protected class harassment or discrimination, and related retaliation.

Required Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree and two (2) years of Title IX experience; OR master's degree and some Title IX experience.

Skills and Knowledge: Effective verbal and written communication skills. Ability to interact effectively with people from a variety of backgrounds and experiences. Demonstrated organizational and time management skills. Ability to conduct investigations and gather evidence. Ability to remain neutral in conducting investigations. Ability to maintain sensitive and private information. Ability to work in stressful situations.

Preferred Qualifications: Experience with conducting investigations and gathering evidence. Experience in Human Resources, Law, or related field. Experience working in a higher education setting.
