*INTERVIEWING and HIRING next week!* *Apply now!! email me your resume: sstaffor@ teksystems.com* *STARTING ONSITE MID JUNE* * *6 Open positions - *Jr, Mid, Sr and Lead level positions open! *Role: Install Technician (**Commercial Buildings)* *Duration: 12* month contract to hire (can convert after 6 months if proven) *Location:* Pueblo, CO *Interview: *1 Step Video interview *Rate:* Depending on years of experience/skillset level 25-40/hour *Schedule:* M-F, 8-5pm or 7-4 flexible ** must be able to pass and drug test, have a valid driver's license and climb ladders* *Top skills:* * *Wiring and running, installing and terminating cable for a new data center in Aurora* * *1-6+ years of field experience installing commercial access control equipment such as card readers*, *electrified door hardware, controller boards, electric strike, mag locks etc. and experience with software(s) such as* *AMAG / Lenel / Genetec / Software House - CCURE / S2* * *Commercial expereince includes warehouses, hospitals, stadiums, shopping centers (target, walmarts)* * *1-8+ years of field experience servicing commercial CCTV cameras, such as Axis, Milestone, Avigilon, Hanwha,* etc. * Don't have to be "certified" but need to have experience ***Can only have one of the above skillsets and still be considered *Job Duties:* * Hiring multiple security/alarm installers on large commercial security jobs at the CSU location in Pueblo. Must be willing to travel in own vehicle to job site for first 12 months! * Install, program, test, repair, and service a variety of non-routine systems and equipment, which may include security, fire alarm & life safety. *Ideally, you have: * * Solid technical skills and experience fire alarm systems, and/or electronic security systems. * Proven ability to troubleshoot problems and look for solutions * To be a self-starter and work well with minimal supervision. * Solid mechanical and electrical aptitude (e.g. works with a variety of hand and power tools such as drill, screwdriver, wire stripper, hacksaw, crimper) and ability to read blueprints and drawings; solid math skills (for some positions, this may include calculating area, velocity, resistance, voltage, etc.). * Strong verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills. *(Example installations include:) * DO NOT NEED TO KNOW ALL OF THESE* Install single mag lock Install double mag lock Install electrified crash bar - rim panic Install REX Install door contacts - recessed and surface Install HES 1006 series electric strike Install HES 5200 series electric strike Install card reader Install static crash bar (internal touch-sense REX) Install electrified hinge Install electrified lever set Read blueprints Determine cable routing path Install interior camera - wall mount Install interior camera - ceiling mount Install exterior camera - pendant mount Install exterior camera - surface mount Install rack-mount network switch Install rack-mount UPS Install rack-mount server Install punch-down patch panel Troubleshoot door contact Troubleshoot open line fault Troubleshoot shorted line fault Troubleshoot ground fault Basic low-voltage electrical theory Ability to read blueprints and drawings JHAs Communicate effectively with jobsite lead IP Cameras Project lead, 2-door add Project lead, 2-camera add All Installer 2 tasks Panel terminations Panel wall field layout ADA door integration Sliding door integration Relay logic understanding Lead an installation crew Communicate effectively with Lead, PM, and Specialist Supervisor Provide daily updates to PM and Supervisor Core a wood door Familiarity with local AHJ code requirements Set turnstiles *Pay and Benefits* The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $40.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
