Role: Install Technician (Commercial Buildings) Duration: 12 month contract to hire (can convert after 6 months if proven) Location: Pueblo, CO Interview: 1 Step Video interview Rate: Depending on years of experience/skillset level 25-40/hour Schedule: M-F, 8-5pm or 7-4 flexible ** must be able to pass and drug test, have a valid driver's license and climb ladders* Top skills: * Wiring and running, installing and terminating cable for a new data center in Aurora * 1-6+ years of field experience installing commercial access control equipment such as card readers, electrified door hardware, controller boards, electric strike, mag locks etc. and experience with software(s) such as AMAG / Lenel / Genetec / Software House - CCURE / S2 * Commercial expereince includes warehouses, hospitals, stadiums, shopping centers (target, walmarts) * 1-8+ years of field experience servicing commercial CCTV cameras, such as Axis, Milestone, Avigilon, Hanwha, etc. * Don't have to be "certified" but need to have experience **Can only have one of the above skillsets and still be considered Job Duties:* * Hiring multiple security/alarm installers on large commercial security jobs at the CSU location in Pueblo. Must be willing to travel in own vehicle to job site for first 12 months! * Install, program, test, repair, and service a variety of non-routine systems and equipment, which may include security, fire alarm & life safety. Ideally, you have: * Solid technical skills and experience fire alarm systems, and/or electronic security systems. * Proven ability to troubleshoot problems and look for solutions * To be a self-starter and work well with minimal supervision. * Solid mechanical and electrical aptitude (e.g. works with a variety of hand and power tools such as drill, screwdriver, wire stripper, hacksaw, crimper) and ability to read blueprints and drawings; solid math skills (for some positions, this may include calculating area, velocity, resistance, voltage, etc.). * Strong verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.
