The Digital Desktop Support Specialist is responsible for the deployment and support of client/desktop systems, applications, and local infrastructure, in alignment with ITIL best practices. This position ensures business users are kept productive by investigating and resolving issues they have with their computer, access, internet services and software. Location: Faribault, MN - Hybrid What you will do: Incident and Service Request Management: Provide first and second line analysis and response to incident and service request tickets submitted by internal business users, adhering to ITIL incident management practices Knowledge Management: Create, update, and maintain critical Digital infrastructure knowledge base documentation to support efficient resolution and continuous improvement Deployment and Support: Deploy and support client/desktop systems, and local infrastructure components, or assist with the administration of more complex systems, in line with ITIL change management processes System Imaging: Participate in the creation, maintenance, and deployment of system images for client/desktop systems, ensuring compliance with configuration management standards Collaboration: Foster team collaboration and assist other departments as needed to promote effective team-building and cross-functional support On-site support 5 days per week at Faribault MN offices On-Call Support: Participate in on-call duties on a weekly rotational basis to provide continuous support and maintenance What's in it for you: Medical/Dental/Vision coverage, PTO, 401K match, support for community involvement and much more The ability to make an impact and shape your career with a company that is passionate about growth The support of an organization that believes it is vital to include and engage diverse people, perspectives, and ideas to achieve our best Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience) 5+ years in Digital support roles ITSM Experience - desktop system administration tools Previous experience on manufacturing facilities providing Digital Support Proficient with MS Windows, MS O365 applications, client/desktop systems and infrastructure components Work visa sponsorship is not available for this position Daikin Applied offers the following benefits for this position, subject to applicable eligibility requirements: Multiple medical insurance plan options + dental and vision insurance 401K retirement plan with employer contributions matching 100% of the first 3% of employee contributions and 50% on the next 2% of employee contributions Company provided life insurance + optional employee paid voluntary life insurance, dependent life coverage and voluntary accident coverage Short term and long-term disability 3 weeks of paid time off for new employees + 11 company paid holidays Vacation accrues on a monthly basis, unless applicable federal, state and local law requires a faster accrual Paid sick time in accordance of the federal, state and local law Paid parental leave and tuition reimbursement after 6 months of continuous service The typical annual base salary for this position ranges from $28.00 - $45.00 per hour in Minnesota. The range displayed represents the pay range for all positions in the job grade which this position falls.
