Job Title: Business Systems Analyst

Job Summary
- Information Technology's (IT) group is seeking a detailed and customer-oriented individual to work out of the Cleveland, Ohio office to support IT projects by documenting user requirements, developing rigorous test scripts, performing quality testing, and providing the necessary documentation for project deployments used to support gas distribution operations in Ohio. The team provides support for the Customer Service Organization including the Customer Care System (CCS), Website, Customer Mobile app, Metering, and Work Management Systems. The Business System Analyst will help to ensure that Enterprise Risk Management requirements are met, while working collaboratively with desktop support and application architects for application deployment and maintenance.
Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Identifies opportunities to apply technologies to business processes, through research and fact-finding.
- Develops and maintains credibility, and effective working relations, with both user and IT personnel.
- Demonstrates to clients an understanding of business problems, IT strategies, issues, and priorities.
- Participates in less complex technical studies to evaluate business requirements, and recommends solutions.
- Works with individual business units on multiple project assignments. May require guidance in complex problem areas.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Experience with leading requirements gathering along with the business units and conducting/coordinating User Acceptance, Integration, and Regression Testing.
- Demonstrated support for customer service related applications preferred.
- Knowledge of and skilled in working in a multi-platform operating environment and computing architectures.
- Demonstrates strong communication skills, both written and verbal, and skilled in working with a variety of customers with varying levels of understanding.
- Skilled in conducting research to provide quality results; ensures that customer's and concerns are clearly understood and addressed in a timely fashion.
