What is the opportunity? The Alternative Investments Data and Client Reporting Manager will be an integral member of alternative investment product team, responsible for the evolution and redesign of our Operating Model, with scalability and future growth in mind. This role will lead key strategic initiatives, implement new technology solutions, and manage key vendor relationships designed to support alternative investments platforms. This role is directly aligned to functional and organizational responsibilities around client service and operational risk management. What will you do?
- Support growth in platform assets by developing and implementing a new operating model framework in partnership with alternative investment fund managers and multiple third-party vendors. This involves gathering, normalizing, and displaying key client reporting data elements.
- Act as subject matter expert on client reporting and data; including the evolution and maintenance of Addepar reporting and assisting on escalated reporting issues.
- Design oversight processes to ensure data completeness and accuracy, and to assess and resolve breaks and reconciliation issues. Respond quickly to advisor escalations, providing expertise and issue resolution in collaboration with Operations, Business Technology, and IT.
- Drive client reporting enhancements for UHNW clients, including consolidation of held away investments and expansion of risk measurement and reporting.
- Drive initiatives regarding the implementation and maintenance of an Alternative Investment data management vendor solution working with third party data management vendor, project team and internal business lines.
- Represent the alternative investments business with internal colleagues and third-party vendors, providing strategic direction as well as detailed requirements; provide direction to Alternative Investment Reporting Product Analyst.
- Work closely with the Senior Product Manager, Alternative Investments, on end-to-end workflows and points of intersection throughout the client lifecycle; order entry through reporting.
What do you need to succeed? Must-have
- 7-10+ years' experience in alternative investments in the wealth management domain, with deep working knowledge of investor data, fund operations and reporting standards.
- Undergraduate degree in related field
- Series 7, 66 or 63 and 65 required, or ability to obtain upon hire
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, Excel Spreadsheet with the ability to adapt to changing technology
- Self-directed, adept at breaking complex ideas into their component features and communicating effectively with various audiences
- Drive for results, focused on delivering tangible output

- Graduate degree in related field
- Current FINRA licensing

The good-faith expected salary range for the above position is $85,000 - $150,000, depending on factors including but not limited to the candidate's experience, skills, registration status; market conditions; and business needs. This salary range does not include other elements of total compensation, including a discretionary bonus and benefits such as a 401(k) program with company-matching contributions; health, dental, vision, life and disability insurance; and paid time-off plan.
