The Delivery Lead - CNB (City National Bank) will oversee the end-to-end execution of complex remediation projects within the application space, aimed at improving the bank's overall technology risk posture. This role requires a strong delivery mindset, the ability to navigate across multiple technologies and teams, and a deep understanding of operational risk, technology controls, and service delivery. The ideal candidate combines strong project delivery skills with the ability to translate technical remediation goals into structured, achievable work plans. This leader will work closely with support teams, risk functions, infrastructure, and application owners to drive high-quality outcomes in a regulated and fast-paced environment. Lead the delivery of complex remediation initiatives that strengthen application support processes and address risk/control issues. Plan and execute cross-functional project plans involving infrastructure, middleware, databases, third-party vendors, and application teams. Serve as the central point of coordination for remediation activities, tracking milestones, dependencies, risks, and issues. Collaborate with technology, compliance, and audit partners to ensure remediation solutions meet regulatory and policy expectations. Monitor delivery performance, escalate blockers, and ensure timely execution of remediation workstreams. Report status, metrics, and risks to project stakeholders and governance forums in a clear and actionable format. Ensure that remediation efforts align with control frameworks (e.g., ITGC, COBIT) and internal technology standards. Contribute to continuous improvement of delivery governance and remediation practices within the application support domain.
What you need to succeed Must have
Minimum of 5 years of experience with application support operating models (e.g., ITIL), risk frameworks and audit findings lifecycle in financial services/banking Knowledge of risk types (e.g., resilience, obsolescence, control gaps) and experience implementing remediations to meet regulatory expectations. Prior experience working with control owners, technology risk and/or internal audit Skilled in project management tools (e.g., JIRA, MS Project, Confluence), and reporting platforms (e.g. Excel, Tableau). Ability to translate risk items into executable project deliverables. Strong analytical thinking, with the ability to identify delivery risks early and take corrective actions. Proficiency in Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid delivery methodologies. Strong planning, coordination, and execution skills across complex, multi-stakeholder technology environments. Familiarity with service management and GRC tools (e.g., ServiceNow, Archer) Ability to work across multiple layers of the tech stack - including application platforms, infrastructure, databases, and networks. Familiarity with IT control frameworks Strong planning, coordination, and execution skills across complex, multi-stakeholder technology environments. Prior experience with Disaster Recovery/Business Continuity programs Clear, concise communicator who can engage both technical teams and senior stakeholders. The expected salary range for this particular position is $120K - $135K + discretionary bonus, depending on your experience, skills, and registration status, market conditions and business needs.
