The Clinical Manager for our Child and Family Services will support the implementation of high-quality behavioral health practices across three programs: Family Child Care, Early Learning, and Out of School time. They will clinically supervise MSW students and staff, provide case management and Mental Health Consultation, and participate in leadership and multi-disciplinary team meetings within the division and across the agency. Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Provide Mental Health Consultation to providers, children and parents in our Family Child Care and Early Learning Program.
- Provide short term supportive case management to families in need of added support.
- Provide leadership and clinical supervision to assigned licensed and license eligible staff and students. Communicate effectively expectations and desired outcomes.
- Work with Clinical Director to evaluate and monitor program effectiveness and provide written reports and analysis.
- Work with Clinical Director in developing or updating Standard Operating Procedures.
- Work closely with program staff to evaluate and integrate children with disabilities and/or behavioral issues into programs, including providing specialized training to staff as needed.
- Develop and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders and partners (school districts, families, social services/non-profit agencies and universities/colleges) to ensure proper communication and planning.
- Provide orientation, on-boarding and support to new staff and MSW students.
- Make recommendations on hiring, promotion and disciplinary actions.
- Attend relevant community meetings.
Qualifications
- 2 years of clinical experience working with children, adolescents and families required. Strong focus on early childhood development preferred.
- Comfortable with diagnosis, assessment, and on-going case management and/or therapy.
- Excellent Customer Service, organizational, interpersonal, oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficient computer skills required in basic computer software and data collection systems.
- Must meet MA Dept of EEC health requirements including current physical and proof of immunizations.
- Successful CORI/DCF review prior to employment.
- Excellent crisis management skills.
