Assistant Store Manager in Springfield, IL (South 6th St) The starting salary for this position will be $20.00 per hour! Full Time Benefits and Weekly Pay! This position is for day shift scheduled within store hours: Monday - Friday: 7am - 5pm Saturday: 8am - 12noon Sunday: Closed As an Assistant Store Manager you will play a key role in the daily operations and success of the store. You will support the Store Manager in driving sales, delivering exceptional customer service, managing inventory, and ensuring a safe and efficient store environment. This role requires hands-on leadership and a strong understanding of retail operations, preferably in the paint or coatings industry. Primary Responsibilities Open and close the retail store in accordance with company procedures. Provide exceptional customer service by identifying customer needs, offering appropriate solutions, and assisting with color matching and tinting of paint products. Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked retail environment. Safely handle, move, and store products in compliance with safety standards. Support daily store operations and provide leadership in the absence of the store manager. Qualifications Must be at least 18 years old. Must possess a valid, unrestricted driver's license in the current state of residence, with a clean driving record Minimum of 1 year of customer service experience. Flexible availability, including evenings and weekends. Physical ability to bend, kneel, crouch, and regularly lift up to 50 pounds (occasionally up to 80 pounds).
