Overview

Nakupuna Consulting is seeking a Product Manager/Agile Coach to provide leadership, management, and direction for the establishment of a Lean Center of Excellence. This role requires supervising of contractor personnel, and communicating policies, purposes, and goals of our Naval Information Warfare Center (NIWC) & Navy clients.



Responsibilities

    Extensive experience working to implement agile mindset and best practices in the federal space
  • Experience launching agile release trains in the federal space
  • Extensive experience as a product manager in the private sector and (if possible) public sector
  • Proficiency in data driven decision making using analytics tools
  • Team player working with engineering, and executive leadership to articulate product goals and best practices
  • Other duties as assigned by your supervisor


Qualifications

Qualifications Required: Performs work with a high degree of latitude. Handles the most complex issues. Possesses expert knowledge of subject matter. Provides leadership, coaching, and/or mentoring to subordinate group. May act as a lead or first-level supervisor. SAFe SPC or SPCT Certification required.

Qualifications Desired:

  • Experience and proficiency communicating highly effective technical topics effectively, using both written and oral communication. This includes experience in technical writing and documentation of complex technical concepts.
  • Scrum Master Certification (CSM).

Education and Experience: Minimum Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in a discipline related to engineering, information technology, or management and 10 or more years of experience. Master's degree in an information technology or agile discipline/certification is preferred.

Clearance: Must be able to obtain a Public Trust. Must be a U.S. Citizen.

Physical Requirements: The ideal candidate must at a minimum be able to meet the following physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation:

  • Ability to perform repetitive motions with the hands, wrists, and fingers.
  • Ability to engage in and follow audible communications in emergency situations.
  • Ability to sit for prolonged periods at a desk and working on a computer.
