To Thrive in this Role, You Will... Work with the Controller in creation of monthly financials, including but not limited to preparation and analysis of financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and trial balances Develop and supervise the Billing Specialist by managing performance, setting goals, providing ongoing training, and maintaining strong employee relationships. Monitor and analyze financial data, trends, variance analysis and KPI reporting to provide insights and recommendations to senior leadership. Assist in the preparation and review of budgets, forecasts, and financial projections in collaboration with other departments. Foster a culture of continuous improvement and professional development within the organization. Work closely with the Accounting Systems Supervisor to ensure financial accuracy, process improvements and cross-department collaboration of our financial packages. Coordinate and collaborate with external auditors during annual audits and reviews. Perform ad hoc analysis and projects as requested. Commission calculations and comp model analysis for the Sales Teams as well as being a payroll back-up periodically. Work closely with our Project Management Team in project creation, setup and maintenance by maintaining reporting to identify change orders, margin analysis and post-mortem review. Prepare and file Sales & Use Tax returns for multiple states and jurisdictions in a timely and accurate manner. You Bring a Track Record of... Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance. CPA or MBA preferred. Excellent verbal and written communication abilities across all levels of the organization Strong leadership skills with a dedication to driving and achieving results Knowledge of employee relationship building and performance management techniques Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
