Overview

Element has an opportunity for a Test Technician to join our rapidly expanding team.As a member of the operations team, the Test Technician position performs calibration and maintenance of instrumentation, test measurement and diagnostic equipment to support the testing requirements of facility. Serves as resource to facility on troubleshooting equipment, calibration and measurement.

Salary: $25- $30/hr DOE



Responsibilities

    Test Setup - Read specifications from technical documents (Test Standards, Customer SOWs, and Test Plans/Procedures), identify/prepare test equipment.
  • Perform Testing - Monitor tests per specifications, interact with customers if needed, troubleshoot, document all pertinent data.
  • Data Processing - After test completion, verify, review and document all pertinent data. Finalize data and send to the Program Manager.
  • Lab Maintenance / Post-Test Breakdown - Physically remove test items. Maintain lab by cleaning all equipment, keeping calibrated instruments current, organizing supplies.


Skills / Qualifications

  • Strong mechanical, MS Office and Data Acquisition Hardware skills;
  • Able to use all complex instrumentation, temperature probes, thermocouples, pressure transducers and accelerometers.
  • Able to use all standard Mechanical equipment and hydraulics-based systems.
