What To Expect (Essential Job Responsibilities)

  • Design, deployment, and optimization of Palo Alto firewall solutions across hybrid environments
  • Administer and enhance Prisma Cloud implementations to ensure robust cloud security posture
  • Monitor and manage LAN/WAN, wireless, and network security infrastructure with a focus on Palo Alto platforms
  • Collaborate with global teams on infrastructure projects, ensuring compliance with security and change management policies
  • Analyze system performance and recommend improvements to meet evolving business needs
  • Serve as a technical liaison with vendors and internal stakeholders to resolve issues and drive innovation
  • Support cloud and on-premises infrastructure, including Windows/Linux servers and virtualization platforms
  • Contribute to IT budgeting, procurement, and asset management
  • Monitors system resource utilization to project capacity requirements and recommends enhancements to meet current and future system demands.
  • Liaison with vendors, IT staff, and end users to provide timely problem resolution.
  • Implements and ensures compliance with all IT policies and procedures, including architecture, security, disaster recovery, standards, purchasing, and service provisions.
  • Leads and participates in local, regional, and global project teams.

Miscellaneous Job Responsibilities

  • Stays current with the latest IT technologies.
  • Develops Requests for Proposals (RFPs).
  • Performs other job-related responsibilities and duties as assigned.

What Is Required (Qualifications)

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of related work experience including IT infrastructure planning and development.
  • Strong technical knowledge of Networking, LAN/WAN, wireless, advanced firewall (PaloAlto) , and network security technologies.
  • Experience working with cloud technologies including Prisma, AWS, GCP.
  • Experience working with Windows and Linux servers including server virtualization and replication.
  • Knowledge of applicable data privacy practices and laws.
  • Strong project management and customer service skills.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills with strong interpersonal skills in a team-oriented and collaborative environment. Ability to present ideas in a business and user-friendly approach.
  • Proven ability to research and problem solve IT issues as well as products.
  • Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks with a strong attention to detail and a high level of self-motivation.

  • Palo Alto Networks Certified Network Security Engineer (PCNSE)
  • Palo Alto Security Automation Engineer (PCSAE)
  • Palo Alto Cloud Security Engineer (PCCSE)
  • Cisco CCNP or CCIE, Microsoft MCSE, CISSP, PMP
