Join Professional Services Group (PSG) - a mission-driven, community-based social services organization - as a Placement Specialist in our Placement Referral Unit (PRU) based in West Allis, WI. This is your opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the lives of children and families across Milwaukee County. ABOUT THE ROLE As a Placement Specialist, you'll work closely with the Division of Milwaukee Child Protective Services to help identify safe and supportive out-of-home placements for children. Using detailed family information, you'll conduct thorough research to locate suitable family or kinship placements and support higher-level care referrals when needed. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Conduct background searches for family and non-relative placement options Maintain and update client databases daily Coordinate closely with County, State, and partner agencies Complete and document client phone intakes and all case activity Ensure timely and well-coordinated placements for children in need SCHEDULE & LOCATION Location: West Allis, WI Schedule: Full-time \| Mon-Fri \| 7:00 AM-4:00 PM (1-hour unpaid lunch) Hybrid Option: 50% remote after training On-Call Rotation: After-hours (11:00 PM-7:00 AM) and weekend coverage (approx. every 6 weeks) WHY JOIN PSG?
