Moog Military Aircraft Group is the premier Flight Control Actuation Systems, Mission Critical motion controls, and Avionics solutions provider for the following markets: Strategic and Tactical Military Aircraft, Military/Civil Rotorcraft and Tilt Rotor Vehicles, and Autonomous Aircraft. Emerging areas of focus include more autonomous aircraft, sustainable energy storage and management, and electric aircraft propulsion solutions.

As an Administrative Assistant, you will provide support to Aircraft Group teams, including office areas and engineering functions. This position requires someone who is self-directed, proactive, can work both independently and collaborate with colleagues across the site. As a member of our team, you will have the opportunity to help develop and improve processes in your areas of focus and make meaningful contributions to our organization. We're looking for a candidate who has an attention for detail and accuracy, is dependable and self-motivated.

You should be able to demonstrate a well-developed sense of organization, a high level of initiative and selfefficiency, and an acute sense of urgency and objective orientation. The position requires the you to come in frequent contact with various customers which requires you to possess poise, tact, and self-confidence.

To be considered for this role, here's what you'll need to bring with you:

  • An Associate Degree in Business or related field and at least 2 years of relevant and progressively skilled experience, or a High School Diploma and least 4 years of relevant and progressively skilled experience
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong computer proficiency and experience in all Microsoft Office tools
  • Knowledge and familiarity of the Moog organization is helpful
  • Willingness to learn Moog systems and tackle new infrastructure as it comes online
  • Strong computer proficiency and experience in Microsoft Office tools.

As a Sr. Administrative Assistant, you will:

  • Provide administrative support for Engineering function and designated office areas
  • Maintain and order supplies and/or other office equipment and manage reconciliation of invoices/accounts
  • Assist in the coordination of team meetings, resolving scheduling conflicts, and arranging catering as needed
  • Prepare and distribute communications with great attention to detail
  • Records maintenance and retention
  • Serve as a back-up for other administrative areas; cross-train in other departments as needed
  • Utilize visitor management software tools, and maintain visitor registers, adhering to specific rules and regulations
  • Must be able to prioritize work and create action plans independently

Buffalo, NY $20.19-$33.65 Hourly

Actual salaries will vary depending on factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. The range(s) listed is just one component of Moog's total compensation package for employees.
