Job Description:

This is a part time role paying from $20, 000.00 - $22,000.00 annually.
To work in collaboration with the Head Football coach and operate as a support coach to coordinators and position coaches. Will help implement drill work, but will not be responsible for leading a full position group or meeting rooms.

This position will be a Part Time classified position with no benefits and will perform entry level coaching duties. These duties will include, but not be limited to, film data entry, practice set-up, assisting position coaches with drill work and evaluation and limited game day duties. No formal game planning duties will be expected with this position

JOB DUTIES

  • Assists in planning practices and schedules for football.

  • Assists in setting up the football field for practice.

  • Assists in leading drill work.

  • Assists position coaches and coordinators as needed.

EDUCATION

Required:

  • Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university.

Preferred:

  • Master's degree or equivalent.

EXPERIENCE

Required:

  • 1 year of football player and/or coaching experience.

Preferred:

  • 5 years of football player and/or coaching experience.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

Required:

  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.

  • Understands football schemes, and can articulate a teaching philosophy on how students will be introduced and trained with the content.

  • Understands film and game planning software.

  • A history of productive relationships with staff and coaches.
