QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor's degree in a technology related field required.
  • 5+ years' experience in software development, engineering, testing or a related field, including solid software engineering fundamentals.
  • Alternative Requirement: Master's degree in a technology related field required, plus 3 years of experience in software development, engineering, testing or a related field including solid software engineering fundamentals.
  • 5+ years' work experience with Oracle Billing and Revenue Management (BRM), C, C++, and Core Java.



Any experience with all of the following:

  • Advanced Knowledge in Oracle Billing and Revenue Management (BRM) and Policy opcode customizations;
  • Advanced Knowledge in Oracle Billing and Revenue Management (BRM) modules: Account Management, Subscription management, Real time pipeline rating, Collections, Billing, Invoicing and Payments;
  • Working knowledge in BRM client tools: Customer center, Developer center and Pricing center;
  • Experience in development methodologies Sprint and waterfall;
  • Working knowledge on Oracle Database, Unix, Perl scripting and Shell scripting;
  • Demonstrating progressive strive toward working autonomously;
  • Ability to generalize a specific problem and derive solution for a class of problem.



MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:

Design and develop software for enterprise services. Responsibilities may include: Requirements analysis and providing estimates for development effort; Involve in detail level design, development of feature work by customizing Oracle Billing and Revenue management (BRM) application; Requirement discussions with cross- functional teams, implement solutions and functional demos; Provide technical leadership and guidance to the development team members; Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards; Participate In e2e integration meetings and provide support from development; Assisting QA, Operations and Support staff in trouble-shooting software issues, as well as implementing bug fixes; Delivery ownership for assigned feature work.
