Accounting Associate

• Oversee full-cycle bookkeeping including journal entries, AP/AR, bank reconciliations, and month-end close
• Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts and financial records
• Ensure data accuracy within Global Shop Solutions ERP, focusing on inventory, cost data, job costing, and labor tracking
• Collaborate with operations to support inventory control, costing accuracy, and cycle counts
• Prepare and analyze financial reports including P&L, balance sheets, and cash flow statements
• Support sales/use tax filings and assist with audits and external accountant coordination
• Uphold confidentiality and internal control procedures

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
• 5+ years' experience in accounting/bookkeeping in a manufacturing or distribution setting
• Proficiency with Global Shop Solutions ERP and Microsoft Excel
• Strong grasp of cost accounting and job costing principles
• Organized, deadline-driven, and able to collaborate across teams
• Preferred: GAAP knowledge, audit prep experience, and understanding of internal controls
