Staffmark is hiring a hands-on Quality Supervisor for a
direct hire role in Winchester, KY with a leading axles and transmissions manufacturer. This is a floor-focused role ideal for a technically skilled leader experienced in CNC processes and quality assurance.

Salary: $65,000 - $70,000 (based on experience)

Shift: 1st Shift | Monday - Friday | 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM

Responsibilities:



  • Lead daily quality operations on the production floor
  • Support tool changes, QC checks, and ensure CNC machining stays in spec
  • Troubleshoot and resolve quality, safety, and process issues
  • Train staff on inspection techniques, SOPs, and documentation
  • Drive Kaizen and continuous improvement efforts
  • Ensure QMS compliance and maintain inspection documentation
  • Collaborate across departments and shifts
  • Support HR with evaluations, training, and corrective actions
  • Conduct regular floor walks and uphold 4S standards



Qualifications:



  • Bachelor's degree in Quality Engineering or equivalent preferred
  • 10+ years of experience in Quality Assurance/Control
  • 2+ years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Strong hands-on CNC machining and technical skills
  • Proficient with inspection tools (calipers, micrometers, etc.)
  • Knowledge of QMS, kanban, standard times, and traceability
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Access)
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Able to lift 50 lbs and work actively on the production floor
