The Investment Manager Services Division (IMS) at SEI is growing rapidly and is seeking new members on our Centralized Operations team. The Centralized Operations team is responsible for servicing existing Hedge Fund clients and assisting with the conversion and implementation of future business.

The Analyst will assist with supporting SEI's proprietary workflow system, the portfolio accounting system (Geneva), and supplemental systems/technology. This individual should have strong verbal and written communication skills, and intermediate Microsoft excel skills.

What you will do:

  • You will serve as a liaison between SEI and the client

  • You will assist with coordinating internal SEI resources on behalf of client (COPS, Recon, Accounting, Technology, etc.)

  • You will assist with identifying, resolving, and /or escalating any critical issues

  • You will serve as representative for each client with the various third-party vendors used by the teams.

  • You will assist with the coordination of new business setups.

  • You will develop/document processes and controls for enhancements to our Alternative Fund Administration offering.

  • You will assist the manager with any client and internal expectations for ad hoc requests

  • You must be comfortable working with various file and data formats

What we need from you:

  • BA / BS in Business, Accounting, Finance, Economics, Mathematics or the equivalent in education and work experience.

  • Internship experience preferred.

  • Intermediate skills in Microsoft Excel

  • The self-motivation and strive to monitor multiple client deliverables without sacrificing excellence or quality

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills as you will primarily support your clients through email and/or phone calls

  • Strong customer service skills as you will be communicating daily with internal clients and your clients
